Made by Israeli Military Industries for Magnum Research, this Mark I presents hallmark early features collectors look for. The slide carries the teardrop-style ambidextrous safety levers, and the barrel uses the early narrow integral 3/8-inch dovetail rib rather than a later pattern. Factory markings include Desert Eagle .357 Magnum nomenclature alongside Magnum Research Inc. Minneapolis Minn and Made in Israel import and origin markings.
The operating system is the Desert Eagle’s distinctive gas-operated, rotating-bolt design, paired here with a single-action-only trigger. The 6-inch fixed barrel uses polygonal rifling and is matched to a 9+1 capacity in .357 Magnum, delivering the classic Mark I configuration in a desirable caliber.
Controls are straightforward and familiar: ambidextrous, slide-mounted manual safeties; a left-side push-button magazine release; and an external spur hammer. Sights are fully adjustable iron sights with a ramped front blade featuring an orange insert for clear alignment.
Ergonomics and handling are supported by textured black two-piece polymer grips with IMI medallions. Two period-correct steel single-stack magazines are included, both with numbered witness holes and baseplates stamped 1-84, aligning with the early production configuration noted above.
