The Target configuration features a 20-inch hammer-forged barrel with a .920-inch heavy profile and a recessed target crown. This setup is built for stability and consistency, and the rifle is configured without iron sights.
The Simmons 6-18x40 scope is installed on a receiver-mounted base with two rings and uses a crosshair reticle. The receiver is drilled and tapped, making the optic installation secure and aligned for the platform.
The Hogue OverMolded synthetic stock provides a durable, textured surface with pebbled grip areas and sling swivel studs. It has a 13.5-inch length of pull and a black finish that complements the rifle’s bright-polished bull barrel along with its black anodized receiver and blued/black trigger housing.
Operation is semi-automatic blowback with right-side ejection and a cross-bolt safety. The aluminum alloy receiver keeps weight manageable, and the rifle feeds from Ruger’s detachable 10-round rotary magazine.
Made in the USA in 1996, this 10/22 Target reflects a 1990s-era build, enhanced with a Hogue OverMolded stock and an installed Simmons 6-18x40 scope, complete with scope base and rings.
