What’s Included
- 1x 8-round single-stack steel magazine marked ".45 ACP"
- Rock Island Armory factory hard plastic pistol case with GI Standard FS label
The GI Standard FS configuration delivers the traditional 1911 experience: a 5-inch barrel, steel frame and slide, and single-action-only operation. It uses an 8+1 capacity in .45 ACP and retains the familiar single-side thumb safety and grip safety, paired with a spur hammer.
The slide and frame wear a black Parkerized finish for a uniform, matte presentation. The slide features rear serrations with no front serrations, and the frame is a clean GI pattern without an accessory rail. Smooth hardwood grips complete the classic look and feel.
GI-style fixed sights include a staked front blade and a low, fixed rear in a dovetail. Markings include "M1911 A1 – FS" on the slide and "CAL. 45 ACP" on the chamber hood. Import and proof markings read "APINTL – PAHRUMP NV, ACP PHILIPPINES."
Dimensions are set for the full-size Government profile: overall length 8.54 inches, height 5.51 inches, width 1.30 inches, and an unloaded weight of 2.47 pounds. This example is the GI Standard FS series, manufacturer part number 51421, made in the Philippines. The included magazine is a single-stack steel unit marked ".45 ACP."
