The M&P45 M2.0 is a striker-fired, full-size .45 ACP with a 4.6 in Armornite-treated stainless steel barrel and an Armornite-treated stainless slide, both finished in black. The M2.0 extended rigid internal steel chassis and aggressive grip texture provide a solid, consistent feel under recoil.
Controls are duty-focused, with an ambidextrous slide stop and a reversible, push-button magazine release. The trigger uses a hinged design with a tactile reset and an integrated trigger safety. This configuration has no external manual thumb safety, and the slide is marked "CAUTION–CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED."
Steel three-dot sights are dovetailed front and rear, featuring a high-visibility yellow front dot and a low-profile, two-dot rear. The 6.9 in sight radius supports precise sight alignment and straightforward replacement if desired.
An integral 4-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover accommodates common lights or accessories. Capacity is 14+1 with the included 14-round magazine, and the package also includes two 10-round magazines for jurisdictions or uses that require reduced capacity.
