This Seattle-marked Detonics Pocket 9 is a compact, stainless 9mm from the 1980s with the companys distinctive Chamber-Lok delayed-blowback system and a rigid, non-tilting fixed barrel. It features an integral machined gutter sight channel and a slide-mounted ambidextrous manual safety that supports DA/SA operation, including cocked-and-locked carry. Offered in very good condition with an excellent bore, it comes with three 8-round magazines and the original Detonics box with end label.

Built by the original Detonics company in Seattle, Washington, this Pocket 9 reflects a short production run that contributes to its scarcity among compact 9mm pistols of the era. The slide is marked "DETONICS 9mm" over "Pocket 9," and the frame is marked "DETONICS SEATTLE, WA."
The operating system is the Detonics Chamber-Lok delayed blowback paired with a rigid, non-tilting fixed barrel that is pinned in place. The pistol is DA/SA and hammer-fired, with a slide-mounted ambidextrous manual safety that allows cocked-and-locked carry. It uses an external hammer with a short spur and a smooth-face trigger.
Construction is all stainless with a matte finish on both frame and slide. The slide is serrated for grip and machines in an integral gutter-style sighting channel with no separate dovetailed sights. Wraparound black polymer grips with longitudinal flutes provide a secure hold.
