Colt Sauer Sporting Rifle .25-06 Rem Bolt-Action, West German, 24 in Barrel, High-Polish Blue, Walnut Monte Carlo, Burris 3-9x Scope
Built in West Germany by J.P. Sauer & Sohn during the Colt–Sauer collaboration, this .25-06 Rem Colt Sauer Sporting Rifle combines premium materials with distinctive markings and refined engineering. It features a 24 in polished blued barrel, a high-gloss walnut Monte Carlo stock with Colt details, and a detachable box magazine. Markings on the receiver and barrel clearly tie it to the Colt–Sauer partnership, and it comes equipped with a Burris 3-9x riflescope in blued rings and bases.
The model showcases the Colt Sauer cam-action bolt with a 60-degree lift and non-rotating bolt body, plus a safety that allows the bolt to be unlocked while on safe. Notable for its fit, finish, and West German manufacture, this rifle represents the line produced in the early 1970s through 1985, when the series was discontinued. The CR-prefix serial format is typical for Colt-Sauer production.

The rifle is chambered in .25-06 Rem and uses a 24 in round polished blued barrel with a two-tone receiver: bright polished side panels with the model legend, and a blued receiver ring and bridge. It has no iron sights and feeds from a detachable steel box magazine with a capacity of 3+1. The magazine release is positioned in front of the trigger guard for direct access.
