This Kel-Tec PMR-30 stands out for its 30+1 capacity in .22 WMR, light 13.6 oz unloaded weight, and fiber-optic sight system. It features a tan glass-reinforced nylon frame with a tan polymer slide cover and a hybrid operating system designed for the .22 WMR pressure range. Made in the USA, it comes with two factory 30-round magazines and the Kel-Tec hard case.
The PMR-30 uses a single-action, hammer-fired design with a hybrid blowback/locked-breech system that self-adjusts for .22 WMR. A 4.3 in hardened steel barrel and full-size profile provide a long sight radius while keeping the pistol notably light. The heel-type magazine release and ambidextrous manual thumb safety offer straightforward, deliberate controls.
Construction is centered on an internal aluminum receiver (which carries the serial number) nested in a tan glass-reinforced nylon frame with KelTec square checkerboard texturing. The tan polymer slide cover is secured by four top screws and integrates the rear fiber-optic sight. An accessory rail is built in for mounting compatible lights or similar accessories.
The fiber-optic sighting system uses a green front element in an aluminum housing that is drift-adjustable for windage, paired with an integrated rear unit featuring two orange elements. The result is a bright, high-contrast sight picture that tracks quickly.
Capacity is delivered via flush-fit double-stack/double-feed magazines, and this model shares magazine compatibility with Kel-Tec’s CMR-30 carbine. Introduced circa 2010–2011 and drawing design lineage from the Grendel P30, the PMR-30 blends distinctive capacity with a lightweight package made in the USA.
