This full-size, striker-fired 9mm features the Variable Interface System optic-ready slide, fully ambidextrous controls, and 3-dot tritium sights. Model EC9459B-3D is manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia for Springfield Armory and offers a 17+1 capacity in a modern, duty-size format.

The Echelon’s Variable Interface System provides an optic-ready slide with a cover plate, allowing direct mounting patterns without separate adapter plates. The slide is billet-machined steel with top relief cuts and aggressive front and rear serrations, finished in a durable black nitride (Melonite) treatment.
Its Central Operating Group is a removable, serialized stainless-steel chassis, simplifying maintenance and providing a robust internal receiver. Fully ambidextrous controls include slide stops on both sides, and the magazine release is reversible to suit the shooter.
The polymer frame features an extended beavertail, aggressive grip texture, and interchangeable backstraps to tailor fit. A 4-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the dustcover supports common weapon-mounted lights or accessories.
Sight regulation comes from 3-dot tritium sights with a white-dot front and a square-notch rear. A chamber witness hole at the barrel hood offers a quick visual status check. Factory markings include "MADE IN CROATIA, GENESEO, IL," and the configuration is confirmed by the box label as EC9459B-3D.
