This Zastava ZPAPM70 stands out with its 1.5 mm stamped receiver and RPK-style bulged front trunnion, paired with a cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, threaded barrel. Built in Serbia and imported by Zastava Arms USA, it features Yugo-pattern details including the Zastava dust-cover locking plunger and distinct parts interfaces. Chambered in 7.62x39 with rugged polymer furniture, it is a well-equipped example of Zastava's modern M70-pattern rifles. Note: the front sight post and detent are not installed on this specimen.

The ZPAPM70 uses a robust 1.5 mm stamped steel receiver with an RPK-style bulged front trunnion, adding strength to the front end. It retains hallmark Yugoslav/Zastava features like the dust-cover locking plunger and Yugo-pattern dimensions, while accepting standard double-stack AK-pattern magazines.
Its 16.25-inch barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and threaded, offering durability and easy accessory compatibility at the muzzle. The rifle operates via a gas-operated, long-stroke piston system and includes a manual safety.
Sighting is via a tangent rear leaf graduated 1–10; the front sight tower is present, but the threaded front sight post and detent are not installed. The gas block is a standard Zastava M70-type without an integrated sling loop, and the handguards are a mismatched set: the upper gas tube cover is a lighter gray polymer with oval texturing and no vents, while the lower handguard is black polymer with long slotted vents.
Furniture consists of a fixed triangle stock, a black polymer pistol grip (TD), and mismatched polymer handguards (upper: lighter gray, no vents; lower: black with slotted vents). Markings include "ZASTAVA ARMS MADE IN SERBIA" and the import stamp from Zastava Arms USA, Des Plaines IL. Capacity is 30+1, and this rifle includes one 30-round Magpul PMAG AK/AKM polymer magazine.
