The Model 1911A1 Service stays true to the GI pattern with an arched mainspring housing, a short solid trigger, and a checkered spur hammer. It uses Series 70–pattern lockwork with a standard barrel bushing and recoil-spring plug, delivering the traditional 1911 mechanical layout.
Construction is robust throughout: the slide and frame are forged steel with a matte black finish, paired to a hammer-forged 5 inch barrel. Slide features include rear cocking serrations only and a lowered ejection port, matching the classic service configuration.
Sighting equipment is GI-pattern with a small staked front blade and a small-notch rear. Controls include a manual thumb safety and grip safety, and the pistol operates as a single-action, recoil-operated 1911 platform.
Grip panels are checkered black synthetic with slotted screws for a secure, service-style hold. The pistol is full-size with an 8+1 capacity, and it ships with a factory 8-round steel magazine.
Markings include ZIG M1911 TURKIYE and TISAS KNOXVILLE, TN, with the right-side importer marking located ahead of the trigger. The overall presentation aligns with a traditional Government-size sidearm in excellent condition.
