Remington Model 1100 Trap 12 Gauge Semi-Auto Shotgun, 24-Inch Slug Barrel, Rifle Sights, Factory-Engraved Receiver, Weaver Base, 2 3/4-Inch Chamber
This Remington Model 1100 Trap is a U.S.-made 12 gauge with a factory-engraved receiver and a bright-finish bolt, paired here with a 24-inch rifle-sighted slug barrel. The receiver is Trap-marked on the left panel and bears the "V" serial suffix denoting a 12-gauge, 2 3/4-inch receiver. A receiver-top Weaver-style cross-slot base and a Pachmayr White Line recoil pad have been installed, adding practical upgrades to a classic gas-operated design.
The installed 24-inch slug barrel is plain (non-ribbed) "Special Steel" and is roll-marked for 2 3/4-inch shells. It carries rifle sights: a ramped front with an orange insert and a barrel-mounted, elevation-adjustable rear. This setup, combined with the rifled bore noted in the condition section, supports precise sight alignment with slugs.
The gun retains the Model 1100's smooth-shooting gas-operated semi-automatic action and a tubular magazine with a stated 4+1 capacity. The cross-bolt safety sits at the trigger guard. Chambering is 2 3/4 inches, consistent with the V-suffix receiver and barrel markings.
The high-gloss wood stock features a Monte Carlo comb, cut checkering with fleur-de-lis accents, and sling swivel studs. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches to the Pachmayr White Line recoil pad. The receiver shows factory scroll engraving, complemented by decorative scroll on the bright-finish bolt.
A Weaver-style cross-slot base is installed on top of the receiver, providing a mounting platform for compatible optics. The Trap-marked receiver and factory engraving give this 1100 a desirable look, while the rifle-sighted slug barrel installed sets it up for precise slug use.
