Old Model Three-Screw Single-Six from the prefix-serial era, this revolver features the fixed-sight 5.5-inch RSS5 configuration and a fluted six-shot cylinder. The barrel carries the "STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A." rollmark, and the frame is marked "RUGER .22 CAL. SINGLE-SIX."
Built with a steel frame, cylinder, and barrel; the barrel and cylinder retain a polished blued finish, while the main frame sides are polished in-the-white (non-factory refinish/stripped blue). It retains the classic single-action-only mechanism and round button (bullseye) ejector rod head. Smooth wood grip panels with Ruger eagle medallions complete the period-correct look and feel.
Sighting is straightforward and durable, with a fixed blade front and a topstrap groove/notch rear. The 5.5-inch barrel length balances compact size with sight radius in this fixed-sight RSS5 variant.
This example includes a fitted .22 Magnum spare cylinder packaged in the Ruger-labeled "Fitted Extra Cylinder" box and red drawstring pouch, along with the original factory box and owner's manual. The package underscores a well-preserved, complete setup from Ruger’s Southport era.
