This Molot VEPR FM-AK47 in 7.62x39 is a Russian-made, pre-sanctions import with FIME Group markings, built on the robust RPK-pattern heavy stamped receiver with a reinforced trunnion. It features a chrome-lined, hammer-forged 16.3-inch threaded barrel, the standard AK left-side dovetail rail on the receiver, and upgraded Magpul furniture including a Zhukov-S right-side-folding, length-adjustable stock. Excellent overall condition and sharp rifling round out a clean example of a desirable Molot import.

Built by Molot-Oruzhie in Russia, this VEPR FM-AK47 uses the RPK-pattern heavy stamped receiver (approximately 1.5 mm) with a reinforced trunnion for added rigidity. It is the square-back style with a fixed-tang interface and steel construction, and the selector is marked S and F.
The rifle is a pre-sanctions Molot import bearing FIME Group (Las Vegas, NV) markings. U.S. sanctions in 2017 ended new Molot imports, and the presence of these importer marks confirms its pre-sanctions status.
The 16.3-inch barrel is hammer-forged, chrome-lined, and threaded, paired with a gas-operated, long-stroke piston system and a rotating bolt. A manual safety lever is present on the receiver, along with the standard AK left-side optics/accessory dovetail rail.
Furniture and controls are thoughtfully updated: a Magpul Zhukov-S stock provides a right-side folding, length-adjustable setup with a 12.25-inch length of pull, and a Magpul polymer pistol grip and ribbed polymer handguards complete the ergonomics. An extended knurled charging-handle knob offers a larger grasping surface.
Sighting is via iron sights with a hooded front post and a tangent leaf rear that includes a windage-adjustment drum. The rifle is chambered in 7.62x39 with a 30+1 capacity.
