The E-Series configuration adds a 3.6 in barrel, an aluminum-alloy frame, and a black Armornite-finished slide with front and rear serrations. The external hammer and single-action-only operation give the CSX a crisp, consistent trigger in a compact metal-frame package.
The slide is optics-ready with a factory-installed cover plate and a cut for the Shield RMS-C/Holosun 407/507K footprint. Dovetailed white 3-dot sights (white-dot front post and 2-dot rear notch) provide a clear iron-sight picture out of the box.
Controls are set up for versatility: ambidextrous manual thumb safety, ambidextrous slide stop, and a trigger safety blade. A warning notes the pistol is capable of firing with the magazine removed. This model is manufactured in the USA and does not include an accessory rail.
Ergonomics are enhanced by textured grips and interchangeable grip adapter/backstrap pieces to fine-tune hand fit. Capacity is 15+1 with the included 15-round magazines, and a 12-round magazine is also provided to tailor size and capacity to preference.
The barrel features S&W's ClearSight gas-diverting barrel-hood cut. A cover plate is installed over the optics cut until an optic is mounted.
