The BP-12’s bullpup configuration places the action behind the trigger to deliver a short overall length of approximately 30.7 inches while still using a 20 inch barrel. This layout aids handling in confined spaces without giving up barrel length.
Its gas-operated, semi-automatic action is paired with a detachable box-magazine system. This example includes three Panzer Arms factory magazines in 9-, 7-, and 5-round capacities, with a stated capacity of 9+1. The shotgun uses a right-side ejection port.
The furniture is polymer in matte black and includes a stock with a thick recoil pad and a cheek riser with an external adjustment knob. Length of pull is listed at 17.0 inches. Safety controls include a manual safety selector.
A full-length top Picatinny rail runs the receiver/handguard line, and the slotted handguard adds Picatinny rail sections at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. The cylindrical barrel shroud, installed flip-up sights, finger-groove vertical foregrip, and compact under-forend weapon light round out the configuration. Markings include PW ARMS – Redmond, WA and PANZER ARMS – Made in TURKEY.
