The 590S feeding system uses a redesigned elevator and bolt slide plus an energy-absorbing bumper to run 1.75, 2.75, and 3 in shells reliably without adapters. This versatility lets you choose minishells or full-power loads while maintaining consistent cycling.
The 18.5 in steel barrel has a cylinder-bore fixed choke and a brass bead front sight for fast alignment. A fixed tubular magazine provides 5+1 capacity, and the magazine tube ends short of the muzzle (the barrel extends roughly 1 in. past the magazine cap). A knurled clean-out cap simplifies maintenance.
The alloy receiver wears a matte black finish and is factory drilled and tapped. A receiver-top optic adapter plate is already installed, offering a ready mounting interface. Proven Mossberg mechanics include twin action bars, dual extractors, and an anti-jam elevator.
Ergonomics are enhanced by the installed Magpul SGA buttstock in Flat Dark Earth with adjustable length of pull, currently set to 14.0 in. The ribbed synthetic corncob forend provides a secure grasp, and the ambidextrous top-tang safety is easy to access from either shoulder.
