The VersaPort self-regulating dual-piston gas system is the core of the Versa Max design, automatically adapting to 2 3/4, 3, and 3 1/2 inch shells. This gives the Sportsman Turkey model broad ammunition compatibility while maintaining smooth operation.
Its 22-inch steel barrel is hammer-forged, smoothbore, and threaded for Remington ProBore choke tubes. A Turkey choke is included to tighten patterns for dedicated gobbler work, and the 3 1/2 inch chamber supports heavy payload options when needed.
Rifle-style fiber-optic sights come standard, with a red fiber-optic front and an adjustable rear for precise alignment in the field. The receiver is drilled and tapped with a four-hole pattern for optics mounting, giving you a straightforward path to add your preferred sighting solution.
The shotgun wears a full camouflage hydrographic finish across the aluminum receiver, barrel, synthetic stock, and synthetic forend. The 14.25 inch length of pull provides a familiar fit, and the tubular magazine offers a 2+1 capacity for hunting applications.
