The ETHOS Sport uses Benelli's inertia-driven, semi-automatic action for clean cycling in a streamlined package. Its 28" crio-treated barrel is paired with a raised carbon-fiber ventilated rib, a red fiber-optic front bead, and a mid-rib bead for clear sighting. An extended, knurled choke with a red "Sport" collar is installed.
The receiver is aluminum alloy (ergal) with a nickel-plated finish, matched to a brushed nickel frame. Enlarged, user-friendly controls include an oversized, serrated charging handle and an oversized bolt-release. A cross-bolt safety with a red indicator and a magazine-tube witness/warning slot on the receiver are also present.
Checkered walnut furniture includes a walnut forend and a stock with Benelli's Progressive Comfort recoil system and a polymer comb insert. The ribbed, knurled forend cap and 14.0" length of pull round out the sporting configuration.
This 20 Gauge model is chambered for 2 3/4" or 3" shells (barrel marked "20 GA. 3" - 76 mm - FOR 2 3/4" OR 3" SHELLS") and has a 4+1 capacity. Markings include "BENELLI USA CORP - ACCOKEEK, MD - MADE IN ITALY" and "BENELLI - ITALY."
