The 25MNSS is a stainless-steel variant in the Model 25 series and is rollmarked "THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN, CT U.S.A." and "STAINLESS MODEL 25MNSS MICRO-GROOVE BARREL CAL. 22 W.M.R. ONLY." The receiver is grooved for 3/8-inch tip-off rings, and the rifle retains its open sights beneath the mounted optic.
The Ducks Unlimited submodel stands out with a hardwood stock that includes pressed checkering, a straight comb, a sling-swivel stud, and a Ducks Unlimited inlaid medallion. A black polymer buttplate marked "Marlin" and a 13.5-inch length of pull complete the stock configuration.
Barrel and receiver are stainless, and the 22-inch barrel uses Marlin’s Micro-Groove rifling. The action is a bolt action with a two-position safety bearing a SAFE/FIRE legend.
Sighting options include an open rear and a ramped front sight with a red/orange insert. A Simmons 3-9x32 scope is installed in matching silver rings, with Simmons lens caps included, offering ready-to-use magnified aiming; factory open sights are also present.
The detachable box magazine system provides a 7+1 capacity in .22 WMR. Two 7-round magazines are included.
