Built by Maadi Company for Engineering Industries (Factory 54), this ARM follows the AKM pattern with a stamped receiver featuring magazine well dimples and X/Y reinforcement stampings. The rifle wears the black enamel-over-phosphate metal finish typical of Maadi production and a ribbed AKM top cover.
Import marked by PARS International, Louisville, KY, this example aligns with the circa 1993–1995 import window. It is chambered in 7.62x39 and configured for 30+1 capacity, with a standard paddle-style magazine release and manual safety/selector lever.
The 16-inch threaded barrel is fitted with an unmarked ported cylindrical muzzle brake. It uses the long 45-degree gas block without an integral sling loop; the front sling swivel is mounted on the lower handguard retainer, and the AK cleaning rod remains installed beneath the barrel.
Furniture consists of a fixed wood stock with a gloss varnish finish, wooden handguards with a palm-swell lower, and a red-brown ribbed polymer pistol grip. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches, yielding a classic full-size AKM feel.
Sighting is via a protected front post and a tangent rear sight leaf marked with Arabic-Eastern numerals. The configuration reflects period-correct Egyptian ARM features throughout.
