What's Included
- Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight 12 gauge pump-action shotgun
The Model 37’s bottom-eject and bottom-load system gives it a clean receiver profile while directing ejection straight down. This example retains the classic steel receiver and steel trigger plate construction associated with the Featherlight series.
The 30 inch plain (no-rib) barrel is factory marked with a fixed Full choke and a single front bead, and it is chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells. Capacity is 4+1. Barrel legends include MODEL–37 and FEATHERLIGHT 12 GA – 2 3/4" CHAMBER – MADE IN U.S.A.
This shotgun is from the pre-855,000 production era, a period in which Ithaca individually fit barrels to each receiver and stamped barrel lugs with matching serial numbers. It uses the traditional takedown system with a quarter-turn interrupted-thread barrel joint and a knurled magazine nut for disassembly.
Furniture includes a checkered walnut pistol-grip stock with a 13.75 inch length of pull and a corn-cob grooved wooden fore-end. The metal surfaces wear a custom camouflage paint overfinish, and the gun retains the Featherlight’s straightforward, field-ready configuration.
