Stevens Model 56C Buckhorn .22 S/L/LR Bolt-Action Rifle, 24 in Blued Barrel, Weaver Scope
This pre–WWII Stevens Model 56C Buckhorn is a U.S.-made bolt-action .22 with J. Stevens Arms Company Chicopee Falls rollmarks and versatile .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle chambering. It features a 24 in crowned barrel, blued steel receiver, detachable 5-round magazine, and a checkered hardwood sporter stock with steel buttplate and fixed sling loops. An installed Weaver fixed-power crosshair scope, rings, and base are included.

Barrel markings identify J. The bolt-action design uses a detachable 5-round box magazine, with a stated 5+1 capacity. The rifle handles .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle, providing flexibility for range use with various rimfire loads.
The 24 in blued barrel features a crowned muzzle, and the blued steel receiver completes the classic finish. Factory-style open sights include a dovetailed front blade and an open rear barrel sight for straightforward sighting.
A one-piece hardwood sporter stock with diamond-pattern checkering, straight comb, and pistol grip provides a traditional feel. Hardware includes a steel buttplate and fixed sling swivels/loops already installed.
