This American Eagle series rifle features factory laser engraving that sets it apart: a bald eagle head on the buttstock with feather and wing motifs along the fore-end and wrist. The engraving is part of the TALO exclusive design and is factory-applied.
The hardwood stock incorporates a right-side Monte Carlo cheekpiece for a consistent cheek weld, plus textured panels on the fore-end and wrist for control. Sling swivel studs are installed, and the length of pull measures 14.0 in.
Core 10/22 elements are present, including the semi-automatic blowback action and Ruger’s detachable rotary magazine system for a 10+1 capacity in .22 LR. The rifle uses an 18.5 in steel barrel and wears a satin black overall finish with a matte black alloy receiver.
Sighting is straightforward with iron sights: a bead front sight up front and an adjustable rear barrel sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped with four holes, and the included Ruger scope base with screws provides a ready mounting interface if you choose to add optics.
Made in the USA, the barrel is marked "Ruger • Newport • NH • USA," while the receiver carries only the serial number, as typical for this era. The box label identifies it as Model 21199 with Catalog 10/22-EAGLE, matching this TALO distributor exclusive configuration and year of manufacture (2018).
