The METE MC9 pairs a micro footprint with a 12+1 capacity, measuring 6.1 in long, 4.52 in high, and 1.12 in wide. With the included 12-round magazine, it weighs 21.27 oz, striking a balance between concealability and controllability.
The slide is optics-ready with an RMSc footprint and ships with a cover plate. Factory sights include a white dot front and a plain black square-notch rear. Co-witness capability may vary depending on the optic used. Front and rear cocking serrations provide positive slide manipulation.
Controls are thoughtfully executed with low-profile ambidextrous slide stop levers and a reversible magazine catch. The striker-fired action uses a trigger safety with an integral safety blade. A three-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail supports compact lights or lasers.
Built on a durable polymer frame in FDE with a matte black slide, the pistol is part of the Canik METE series and is a recent release. It was introduced at SHOT Show 2023 and earned the 2023 Industry Choice Awards Concealed Carry Pistol of the Year. The pistol is made in Turkey and imported to the U.S. by Century Arms Inc., Georgia, VT, with corresponding import marks on the frame or slide.
