This Kimber CDS9 stands out with its OR/RL/TFS configuration in a micro-size, double-stack 9mm. It pairs a match-grade stainless 3.64 inch threaded barrel with 5R rifling and a 1/2x28 TPI pattern to an RMSc-footprint optics cut with a cover plate and a rear sight. A two-slot accessory rail, two included magazines (15- and 13-round), and two-tone construction complete a feature-rich, carryable package marked "KIMBER TROY AL USA."
The slide uses front and rear fish-scale serrations and an external extractor, while the action is single-action and hammer-fired with a flat-faced, hinged trigger. Ambidextrous manual thumb safeties, an ambidextrous slide stop, and a reversible magazine release offer flexible, user-friendly control. Texturing wraps the frontstrap and backstrap, and orange/black G10 panels provide a positive grip.
The optics-ready slide is cut for the RMSc footprint and ships with a Kimber cover plate. A black, serrated rear sight pairs with a red TAG Precision Fiber-Lock fiber-optic front for a bright, clean sight picture. When paired with the two-slot accessory rail, the CDS9 supports a wide range of sighting and illumination setups using the features included on the pistol.
Built on a black aluminum-alloy frame with a silver/gray slide for a two-tone finish, the CDS9 uses KimPro II–type finishes. Capacity is 15+1 with the extended magazine and 13+1 with the compact magazine, giving the buyer two carry-ready options in the box.
