The Sand Viper uses a 2011-pattern modular frame with a polymer double-stack grip module that carries aggressive molded texture and TTI medallions. The bronze-finished slide is extensively lightened with top and side windows, exposing the barrel marked "9×19" with the TTI logo.
The slide is cut for a red dot and comes fitted with a Trijicon SRO 2.5 MOA, providing a clear, crisp aiming point. This configuration ships without backup iron sights, keeping the sighting system focused on the mounted optic.
Controls are set up for fast operation: single-action trigger with a skeletonized shoe, a skeletonized spur hammer, ambidextrous thumb safeties, a grip safety, an extended checkered magazine release, and an extended slide stop. A large flared magazine well speeds reloads.
Dimensionally, the pistol measures 8.5 inches in overall length and 6.5 inches in height. The full-length dustcover is non-railed. Three steel magazines are included with witness scales to 17, 20, and 25 rounds, and capacity is 26+1 with the extended magazine. Slide markings read "TARAN TACTICAL INNOVATIONS" and "SAND VIPER," and the frame underside is roll-marked "MODEL: JW4 PV."
