- Ithaca Mag-10 Standard Grade 10-gauge semi-automatic shotgun
The Mag-10 is an early gas-operated 10-gauge semi-auto design and a direct forerunner to the Remington SP-10. This Standard Grade example was made in the USA and carries a working-grade matte metal finish suited to hard use.
Its 32-inch vent-rib barrel provides a long sighting plane, guided by a front bead. The barrel is rollmarked for 3.5-inch 10-gauge shells only, reinforcing its magnum-only chambering. Right-side ejection and a right-side bolt release support straightforward operation.
The shotgun wears plain, uncheckered walnut forend and stock with a black spacer and a ventilated recoil pad. Length of pull is 14.5 inches. A knurled magazine cap completes the classic configuration.
Capacity is 2+1. The gas-operated, semi-automatic action reflects Ithaca’s patented approach, with the barrel marked U.S. Patent 4,014,247. This full-size configuration aligns with the Mag-10’s role as a robust, purpose-built 10-gauge platform.
