The action uses a three-lug bolt with an approximately 70-degree lift for smooth cycling and scope clearance. The bolt body is polished and topped with a round knob, and the receiver has an open ejection port for easy access.
The Cascade’s synthetic camouflage stock includes an adjustable LOP spacer system, textured grip and fore-end, and a CrushZone recoil pad. Dual front sling/bipod studs and a rear stud are installed for carry or support options. Length of pull is set at 14.0 inches.
Controls and fire control are straightforward: a tang safety with red fire indicator and a user-adjustable, single-stage trigger. The rifle ships without open sights and has a scope mount installed; the receiver accepts Savage AccuTrigger-pattern two-piece bases.
