The 24-inch heavy/varmint-profile barrel features a recessed target crown and a matte blued finish, with no visible muzzle threads. The barrel rollmark reads: "MOSSBERG – CALIBER 5.56mm NATO – MVP SERIES – NORTH HAVEN, CT, U.S.A."
Mossberg’s patented Drop‑Push bolt system allows this MVP to accept AR-15 pattern magazines. A 10-round detachable metal magazine marked "MS 10" is included, providing a 10+1 capacity in 5.56mm NATO.
The gray laminate benchrest-style stock is purpose-built for stability, with a wide, flat forend, a right-hand cheekpiece, and a palm swell. It includes an "M" inlay with stippled/checkered panels, front and rear sling swivel studs, and a rubber buttpad. A stud-mounted adjustable bipod is installed.
The action uses a spiral-fluted bolt body with a round, knurled bolt knob for positive manipulation. The rifle incorporates a sliding safety lever with a red witness dot and Mossberg’s LBA adjustable trigger for a clean, tunable break.
There are no iron sights. Two-piece Weaver-style scope bases are installed for mounting an optic. The rifle is finished in matte blued steel and was made in the United States.
