Specific Condition Notes: Numerous scratches and blemishes are present across the rifle. Cosmoline buildup is visible in several areas. There is a large crack in the stock that is visible on both sides.

Built on the Mauser platform, this Model 24/47 features an intermediate-length 98-type action with a full-length claw extractor and controlled-round feed. The three-position flag safety provides familiar Mauser-style operation. Feeding is via a fixed five-round internal staggered box magazine.
The 23.5 in barrel is finished with a recessed crown. Sights are classic military pattern: a hooded post front and a tangent/ladder rear sight with metric graduations, paired to the short rifle configuration for practical field use.
The hardwood stock is full-length with a separate upper handguard and a stock crossbolt. Sling hardware consists of a side D-ring front sling loop and a rear bottom swivel. A bayonet lug is integral to the nose cap, consistent with the pattern.
Most external metal surfaces are blued, while the bolt body, follower, and magazine floorplate/trigger guard are left in the white. Markings include a C.A.I. GEORGIA VT import stamp, a stock cartouche marked "M," and a stock stamp showing a "G" with star. The length of pull measures 13.0 in.
