This model is striker-fired with restrike capability. The pistol retains factory safety features, including a manual thumb safety, a trigger safety, and a hinged pop-up loaded-chamber indicator on the slide marked “LOADED WHEN UP.”
Sighting is straightforward with a fixed white-dot front and an adjustable white-dot rear in a 3-dot arrangement. The left-side magazine release provides familiar controls, and the frame includes memory pad index points to aid consistent hand placement.
The polymer frame features an integral accessory rail with one slot for a light or similar accessory. The frame underside is marked MOD. PT140 G2 A, and the slide and frame wear a uniform matte black finish.
