The rifle is equipped with Tech-SIGHTS on the receiver, adding an adjustable aperture rear sight to complement the Tech-SIGHTS-compatible front post with protective ears. The original barrel-mounted adjustable rear notch is also present.
The 18-inch barrel uses Marlin Micro-Groove rifling. The bore condition is excellent with sharp rifling, supporting precise performance with .22 LR ammunition.
Built as a straight blowback semi-automatic, it uses a right-side charging handle and a cross-bolt safety. The receiver has 3/8-inch rimfire dovetail grooves. This example is from the Remington/Mayfield era and carries the Mayfield, Kentucky barrel rollmark.
The black synthetic stock provides molded checkering for a secure hold and includes integral sling swivel studs. A black nylon two-point sling is already attached. The rifle uses a detachable box magazine system; however, no magazine is provided.
