    What’s Included

    • Armi San Marco factory box with matching serialized end label

Patterned on the Colt 1851, this revolver retains the period-correct open-top layout with a wedge-retained barrel and an under-barrel loading lever. The barrel is blued steel, the frame is color case-hardened steel, and the naval scene is roll-engraved on the blued steel cylinder. The brass trigger guard and backstrap complement the one-piece varnished walnut grip.

Sighting is traditional and straightforward, with a fixed brass front post and a hammer-notch rear. The fixed open sights, combined with the sharp rifling and mirror-bright bore, support clean, predictable alignment for typical cap-and-ball use.

Italian proof and inspection stamps are present, along with a boxed two-letter date-code cartouche confirming its production heritage. Made in Italy, this example reflects Armi San Marco’s focus on period styling and finish work across both steel and brass components.

The original factory box is included, and the labeling reiterates a key operational note: use black powder only. As a 6-shot single-action percussion revolver in .44 caliber, it offers the classic 1851 handling profile with the convenience of a modern reproduction.
