LWRC International IC-A5 5.56 NATO 16-inch AR-15 Piston Rifle — Spiral-Fluted CHF Barrel, Ambidextrous Controls, Upgraded Geissele Trigger
This LWRC International IC-A5 pairs the company’s short-stroke gas piston system with a 16-inch spiral-fluted, cold hammer forged, black nitride barrel and fully ambidextrous lower controls. It features LWRC’s one-piece Monoforge upper with a continuous T-marked Picatinny rail, the IC-A5 two-position gas block, and a long modular handguard. This example is upgraded with a Geissele flat-bow trigger, an ambidextrous charging handle with a U.S. flag motif, and an ASR-pattern 1/2x28 QD flash hider.

The IC-A5’s operating system is LWRC’s short-stroke gas piston with an IC-A5 two-position gas block, delivering a clean-running action for sustained use. The nickel-boron coated bolt carrier presents a bright finish and is visible through the ejection port.
The barrel is a 16-inch heavy-profile unit that is spiral fluted, cold hammer forged, and black nitride treated, with 1/2x28 muzzle threads and a 1:7 twist. An ASR-pattern QD flash hider is installed. The rifle’s maximum stated capacity is 30+1.
The upper is a one-piece Monoforge design with a continuous, T-marked Picatinny rail. It is paired with LWRC’s long, oval-vented modular handguard featuring threaded inserts and a QD sling socket. Rail length is 12.0 inches.
The fully ambidextrous lower includes bolt catch/release, magazine release, and safety selector. This rifle is further enhanced with an upgraded Geissele flat-bow trigger and an ambidextrous charging handle with bilateral latches and a U.S. flag motif.
Furniture includes the LWRCI Compact adjustable telescoping stock (13.5-inch LOP) and a Magpul pistol grip. The upper is roll-marked "IC-A5 5.56mm" with the LWRC logo and "Made in the U.S.A."; the lower is marked "LWRC INTERNATIONAL M6IC." Example shows a QR/EID label on the magwell. Finish is black.
