Early numeric-only, no-prefix serial production and original barrel rollmarks with Remington patent numbers further highlight its period-correct details.

Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
There are minor, superficial scratches and blemishes. Rear sight components are incomplete.

The BDL configuration delivers the signature walnut Monte Carlo stock with cheekpiece, impressed fleur-de-lis checkering, a contrasting black fore-end tip, black grip cap, white line spacers, and a black checkered buttplate. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches, and sling swivel studs are installed.
The 22-inch blued sporter-contour barrel carries the Ilion, N.Y. address rollmark and Remington patent numbers 2,473,373 / 2,514,981 / 2,585,195, with REP Remington proof present. This example is from early numeric-only, no-prefix serial production within the 1963–1968 manufacturing range.
Chambered in 6mm Rem, it uses an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate for a 4+1 capacity. The Model 700 action is drilled and tapped, and this rifle has two-piece scope bases installed.
Originally configured with iron sights, it retains the ramped front sight base. The barrel-mounted rear-sight assembly is incomplete.
