The FS45 configuration combines a 3.8 inch barrel with a full-size steel frame for a semi-compact profile and an approximate overall length of 7.6 inches. The slide rides inside the frame, and the pistol features rear slide serrations only, a squared trigger guard, vertical front-strap serrations, and a spurred hammer.
Operation is semi-automatic, short-recoil, DA/SA. Safety features include an ambidextrous, frame-mounted manual safety and a firing pin block. The fixed combat-style 3-dot sight system uses a single-dot front and two-dot rear.
Markings and origin details are clear and desirable to many Jericho enthusiasts: the frame is marked "MADE IN ISRAEL" with an adjacent "H3" marking; the barrel hood is marked ".45 ACP"; and the left side of the slide is roll-marked "DESERT EAGLE PISTOL" over "ISRAEL WEAPON INDUSTRIES (IWI) LTD." Import markings read "MAGNUM RESEARCH INC, PILLAGER MN USA."
Capacity is 10+1 in .45 ACP. The pistol includes three steel 10-round magazines with ".45" marked baseplates. Grips are black textured panels featuring the molded IWI roundel. There is no accessory rail on the dust cover, maintaining the classic Jericho profile.
