The barrel hood is clearly marked 9x19. This setup is designed to keep the front end tight and controllable while maintaining reliable lockup.
The slide is optics-cut and includes a removable P1 plate. It carries front and rear cocking serrations, top slide relief cuts, and factory markings including "ROMULUS" and "AF1911 ROMULUS." Sights are iron: a luminous-dot AF H3 front post paired with a black serrated rear notch for a clean, fast sight picture.
Controls are modernized for a carry-capable 1911: ambidextrous thumb safeties, a beavertail grip safety, and a skeletonized loop hammer. The flat-faced Red Dirt trigger provides a straight press consistent with single-action operation. The full-length Picatinny dustcover rail with four slots supports mounted accessories as needed.
The double-stack MJD Killmonger grip module features aggressive crosshatch texturing and a flared magwell for confident handling and fast reloads. Frame and slide wear a uniform black finish. An additional small "JP" stamp is present on the right side of the frame, aligning with the listed proof marks.
