The KHX Pro series pairs 1911 ergonomics with modern machining and finishes. The slide shows hexagonal milling along with top-strap texturing, providing a distinctive profile and confident handling. Both slide and frame wear Kimber's KimPro II gray finish for a uniform, purpose-driven look.
Its 4 inch match-grade stainless steel barrel supports accurate, consistent performance. The single-action, semi-automatic 1911 platform includes a skeletonized, lightened aluminum trigger and a commander-style rowel hammer for a crisp firing cycle.
The Hogue Laser-Enhanced grips integrate a red laser with front-strap activation, offering an aiming aid directly from the grip. Checkering on the front strap and the checkered mainspring housing add secure purchase, while the beavertail grip safety with a raised memory pad promotes a consistent grasp.
Sighting is handled by an orange fiber-optic front and a fixed rear with two green fiber-optic dots. The slide has no optics cut. A left-side only thumb safety and grip safety provide the standard 1911 control suite.
This model uses a non-railed Government-pattern steel frame and a single-stack magazine system for a 9+1 capacity. It ships with one 9-round magazine, and the included Kimber factory case and manual complete the package.
