The Performance Center Carry Comp configuration pairs a micro-size Shield Plus frame with a 4-inch stainless steel barrel that has an integral single-port compensator. The slide shows Performance Center styling with side windowing near the muzzle and chevron-style front and rear serrations for confident manipulation.
The slide is optics-ready with an RMSc footprint and arrives with the factory cover plate installed. A ClearSight cut behind the ejection port improves visibility of the chamber area, and the slide carries clear factory markings including "M&P 9 SHIELD PLUS" and "Maryville, TN, U.S.A." The barrel hood is marked "9MM."
The pistol uses a striker-fired action with a flat-face trigger and a trigger safety blade. It has left-side controls including the magazine release and is configured without an external manual thumb safety. The pistol is capable of firing with the magazine removed, as indicated by the factory slide warning.
Materials and finishes are built for durability: a stainless steel slide and barrel treated with a black Armornite finish, paired with a black polymer frame. The M2.0-style aggressive grip texture provides a secure hold. Sights consist of a dovetailed front high-visibility dot with a yellow ring and a plain black, drift-adjustable rear notch.
