This Kimber CDS9 TFS Optics-Ready Rail is a micro 9mm pistol introduced in 2024 and built in the USA with an aluminum-alloy frame and steel slide. It features a 3.64 in stainless, match-grade threaded barrel with 5R rifling, an RMSc-footprint optics interface with cover plate installed, and a three-slot accessory rail. The two-tone finish with a gray slide, fish-scale serrations, and included 15- and 10-round magazines make this example a well-equipped, modern carry-size package.
The hammer-fired, single-action system uses a skeletonized external hammer and an ambidextrous manual thumb safety. Iron sights are set up with a red fiber-optic front and a black serrated rear for a clear sight picture. Capacity is up to 15+1 with the included staggered-column magazines.

The CDS9 series brings a compact, high-capacity 9mm format with a micro footprint. This example pairs an aluminum-alloy frame to a steel slide finished in gray for a clean two-tone look, and the slide wears Kimber's front and rear fish-scale cocking serrations. The frame is marked KIMBER TROY AL, USA.
The stainless, match-grade barrel measures 3.64 in and is extended and threaded 1/2x28 TPI with a knurled thread protector. It uses 5R rifling and a 1:10 twist. These features support reliable use with threaded muzzle accessories and precise barrel-to-slide lockup.
Controls include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a single-action trigger working with a skeletonized external hammer. A three-slot accessory rail on the dust cover accepts compatible lights or accessories as desired. The grip panels are orange/black textured composite with a frag-style pattern for secure purchase.
For sights, the pistol ships with iron sights: a red fiber-optic front and a black serrated rear. The slide is optics-ready and cut for the RMSc footprint, and an optic cover plate is installed from the factory. Capacity is up to 15+1; this pistol includes both a 15-round and a 10-round staggered-column magazine.
