This first-generation Smith & Wesson M&P40c is a compact, striker-fired .40 S&W with the no-thumb-safety configuration, a 3.5-inch barrel, and Melonite-treated stainless steel components. It stands out with its factory-style steel 3-dot sights, integral accessory rail, reversible magazine catch, and a grip-integrated Crimson Trace red laser backstrap installed. Two 10-round magazines are included.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Rifling: Excellent - Sharp lands and grooves.

The M&P40c delivers the compact form factor of the first-generation M&P line with a 3.5-inch barrel in .40 S&W and a 10+1 capacity. This example is the no-thumb-safety configuration with a striker-fired action, hinged trigger, and integrated trigger safety.
Built with a stainless-steel slide and barrel treated with a Melonite finish, the pistol combines durability with a black polymer frame. The slide features rear serrations only, and the dust cover includes an integral accessory rail for mounting a light or similar accessory.
Factory steel, low-profile 3-dot sights include a white-dot front and a steel, drift-adjustable rear with two white dots. Controls are user-friendly, with a reversible magazine catch to accommodate different shooters.
A sear-deactivation lever allows disassembly without pulling the trigger. This pistol includes a grip-integrated Crimson Trace red laser backstrap already installed, plus two 10-round compact magazines. Made in the United States.
