Ruger 9E 9mm Luger Full-Size Striker-Fired Pistol, 17+1 Capacity, 4.14 in Barrel, Black Oxide
The Ruger 9E is a fixed-sight variant of the SR9, built as a streamlined, reliable full-size 9mm with a simplified slide profile and practical features. It uses a chamber viewport in place of a pop-up loaded-chamber indicator and is compatible with SR9 magazines. Introduced in 2014 and discontinued with the SR-Series around early 2018, this model offers 17+1 capacity, steel fixed sights, and an accessory rail in a durable, no-nonsense configuration.

This 9E retains the SR-Series core while deleting the pop-up loaded-chamber indicator and adopting a chamber viewport. It pairs a through-hardened alloy-steel slide with a black-oxide finish and a black glass-filled nylon frame for strength and durability. The slide is a flat-top design with rear serrations and a striker status indicator.
Fixed 3-dot steel sights are installed, with a dovetailed white-dot front and a two-dot rear that is drift-adjustable for windage. An integral accessory rail with a single cross-slot allows attachment of compatible lights or other rail-mounted accessories.
Controls and safeties are thoughtfully configured: an ambidextrous magazine release, a manual thumb safety, a trigger safety tab, an internal striker blocker, and a magazine disconnect. The reversible backstrap, molded texturing, and Ruger phoenix medallions round out the grip frame.
The pistol is striker-fired and full-size, with a 4.14 in barrel and a 1:10 RH twist. Capacity is 17+1 with the included double-stack magazines, and the platform accepts SR9 magazines for added flexibility within the SR-Series family.
