Built for powerful hunting performance, this Raging Hunter is chambered in 500 S&W Magnum with a 5-round, unfluted cylinder and a dual-latch lockup system for secure alignment. The DA/SA action pairs strength with a smooth trigger system appropriate for field use.
The 8.5 inch barrel uses a tensioned, two-piece design with a stainless inner barrel and a lightweight shroud. A factory ported muzzle with eight total ports helps manage muzzle rise, and the ejector rod is recessed under the shroud for protection and clean lines.
Target acquisition is straightforward with a fixed front blade and a fully adjustable rear sight. Integrated Picatinny rail on the barrel shroud (forward of the frame); top strap retains the adjustable rear sight.
The revolver wears a matte-black finish across the frame, cylinder, and barrel shroud, complemented by black soft rubber, finger-grooved grips with the Taurus medallion. A transfer bar safety is included. Markings read: "TAURUS ARMAS MADE IN BRAZIL, BAINBRIDGE, GA."
