What’s Included

- Colt Safety and Instruction Manual - Double Action Revolvers (1997)
Built on Colt’s MM-frame, this stainless steel Anaconda combines strength and balance with a factory weight of about 53 oz in the 6-inch configuration. The satin/brushed stainless finish complements the robust construction and highlights the Colt prancing horse logo on the frame.
The 6-inch barrel features a ventilated rib with rectangular lightening slots, a full-length underlug, and a recessed crown. These factory features contribute to steady handling and a clean sight picture with the iron sights.
Sighting is handled by a pinned orange-ramp front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight. The topstrap is drilled and tapped at the factory for a scope mount, offering flexibility for sighting configurations if the buyer chooses to add a mount later.
The six-shot fluted cylinder includes a knurled ejector-rod tip for positive operation. The revolver runs in double-action/single-action and uses a transfer-bar safety system.
Factory black rubber finger-groove grips with silver Colt medallions and a molded COLT banner provide a confident hold. Made in the USA and dated to 1998, this example represents the late-1990s production era of the Anaconda line.
