The RDB-17 platform places the action and magazine behind the trigger, delivering a compact bullpup layout with a gas-operated, short-stroke piston system. Its downward ejection path supports ambidextrous handling without changing hardware, and the adjustable gas regulator lets the user tune the system to ammunition and conditions.
This rifle has a ventilated metal handguard installed in place of the factory polymer unit for a durable, open-profile forend. The original KelTec polymer handguard is included, giving the buyer both configurations.
The steel barrel measures 16.1 inches with a 1:7 twist to stabilize common 5.56 NATO loads. It is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with an A2 flash hider from the factory.
A receiver-mounted Picatinny rail section provides mounting for sights or accessories. The rifle accepts AR-15/STANAG magazines, includes a manual safety selector, and features a fixed buttpad with a rear sling loop. The serialized steel upper receiver and polymer lower/frame shells wear a consistent black finish and are made in the USA.
The factory box is present with a label matching the receiver number, along with the owner's manual and a translucent 30-round AR-pattern magazine marked "Made in Germany."
