The GSG-16 is a .22 LR semi-auto built on a polymer receiver and frame with a durable black finish. It uses a simple blowback action and features a user-reversible charging handle mounted in the cocking-tube slot for adaptable operation.
Its 16.25-inch stainless pencil barrel is enclosed by a cylindrical aluminum shroud, balancing light weight with a distinct look. The bore condition is excellent with sharp rifling. Sighting setup includes a front post, and the top rail is ready for your choice of rear sight or optic.
A continuous top Picatinny rail spans the receiver and handguard, with additional bolt-on rail sections at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions and elongated cooling slots. The rail sections are secured with screws into molded bosses; there is no M-LOK interface. The handguard and receiver integrate well with the rifle’s black polymer construction.
The collapsible twin-rod stock offers length-of-pull adjustment from about 8.0 to 13.75 inches and includes integrated spare-magazine storage plus a short Picatinny rail segment on the buttplate. Overall length runs approximately 28.56 to 34.18 inches, with weight around 5.6 to 5.8 pounds. Markings include molded "GSG-16" and "Made in Germany," DE and CIP N proofs, and the ATI Summerville SC import mark.
