This Beretta 686 Whitewing from the Wing Series is a 12 gauge over/under built on the proven 680-series low-profile action. It features 28 inch Excelsior high strength alloyed steel barrels with a ventilated rib and a green fiber-optic front bead. The coin/bright receiver carries factory game-bird engraving and P. BERETTA trident markings, and the gun uses the Beretta Mobilchoke system with Improved Cylinder chokes installed. It is Italian-made and import-marked by Beretta USA.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: There are some markings from previous handling and use. The top lever indicates plenty of life remains in the locking lug. Barrel fit is tight. The ejectors are properly timed. The firing pins are in good condition.

The Whitewing variant is part of Beretta's Wing Series and is identified by its WHITEWING rollmark and factory game-bird scene engraving on a coin/bright receiver. It is built on the 680-series low-profile over/under action with trunnion pivots and conical locking lugs.
The 28 inch barrels are made from Excelsior high strength alloyed steel and feature a ventilated top rib. The gun uses the Beretta Mobilchoke system and comes fitted with Improved Cylinder chokes. Chambers are 3 inches.
Sighting is straightforward with a green fiber-optic front bead. The shotgun has a single, gold-colored trigger and a tang-mounted manual safety.
The stock set is gloss-finished walnut with checkering, a pistol-grip, and a rounded fore-end. It has a rubber recoil pad and a slight right cast-off. Length of pull is 14.75 inches.
Markings include Italian proof marks on the monobloc, "EXCELSIOR – HIGH STRENGTH ALLOYED STEEL," 18.5 mm bore diameter, KG1.320 barrel weight, BERETTA USA CORP. ACCK, MD import mark, and "MADE IN ITALY." The receiver is marked P. BERETTA with the trident emblem.
