This Howa Model 1500 stands out as a stainless/synthetic sporter in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 22-inch cold hammer-forged barrel and a 1:8 twist. Made in Japan and imported by Legacy Sports International, it includes installed Talley one-piece lightweight ring/base mounts.

The rifle uses a one-piece stainless receiver with an integral recoil lug and a large open ejection port. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and the stainless hinged floorplate carries the Howa logo. The forged two-lug bolt incorporates an M16-style extractor and a plunger ejector for positive extraction and ejection.
The 22-inch sporter-taper barrel is cold hammer-forged stainless steel, paired with a 1:8 twist for 6.5 Creedmoor. There are no iron sights, and Talley one-piece lightweight mounts are already installed to accept a 1-inch scope.
Controls are straightforward and include a three-position safety and the HACT two-stage trigger. The internal magazine provides a 4+1 capacity with a hinged floorplate for quick unloading.
The black synthetic stock features textured grip and forend panels, sling swivel studs, and a rubber recoil pad. Length of pull is 14.0 inches.
