The aluminum-alloy receiver is finished in gray, while the polymer stock and forend are black and built for hard use, with oversized controls for fast handling.

The gas-operated action features a self-cleaning cylinder and a compensating exhaust valve to keep the system running across a range of loads. The steel barrel is chrome-lined, as is the chamber, and it is Mobilchoke threaded with an Improved Cylinder choke installed. The shotgun is chambered for 2.75-inch and 3-inch 12-gauge shells.
Sighting is fast and precise with a ghost-ring rear and a protected front post. A receiver-top 1913 Picatinny rail provides a solid mounting surface. The extended magazine tube runs to the muzzle and is secured with a barrel/magazine clamp.
Controls are purpose-built: an oversized bolt handle and an enlarged bolt-release pad aid manipulation. The length of pull is 13.0 inches with a fixed polymer stock and rubber buttpad. The polymer forend has textured panels and accessory slots for setup flexibility.
The aluminum-alloy receiver keeps weight centered and wears a durable gray finish; the stock and forend are black polymer. Markings include MADE IN THE USA and BERETTAUSA CORP. GALLATIN TN, reflecting manufacture in Gallatin, Tennessee. This is a recent release within the A300 Ultima Patrol line.
