The rifle uses a direct impingement action on the AR-15 platform and is configured as a short-barreled rifle with a collapsible, two-rod PDW stock.
The cold hammer-forged steel barrel features a 1:7 twist and a threaded muzzle. A side-ported muzzle brake/compensator is currently installed as a non-factory replacement for the original linear compensator.
